Forgive
Here's the last one. Because of its length, the mp3 has been squished down to 112 kbps. You'll have to buy the CD if you want hi-fi.
Loïs Bouma is on drums, Stephanie Boël, Jean-François Thibaud and Wandina from Sky Kisses are on back vocals. The right honorable living legend Richard Raux from Magma fame is on saxophone.
Like on every song of ours, Christophe Micou plays guitar and Henri Di Cristo is at (and sometimes under) the mixing board (Henri also taped Richard's sax and recorded several sessions through the project). I'll say this once because it's good to say things but I don't like to toot my own horn: I ended up playing bass, organ, piano, and singing lead on all the songs. Whenever Loïs Bouma isn't credited with drums, I took care of 'em. I also play guitar, of course. All the song and poster illustrations we used are from Hieronymus Bosch. I do the graphics. That job (and most others) is up for grabs. Most pictures of us have been taken by Hélène Canaud. Almost all guitars one hears on this whole record have been made by hand in Saint-Hippolyte Dufort by Ship of Fools' Christophe Micou. I can say honestly that my MC is the best guitar I've ever laid my hands on.
That's it. Now we try to turn this into an actual object actual people can actually touch, see, smell and listen to. And taste, why not?
Ship of Fools band. Have guitars, will travel.
Thanks for listening,
É.

Little Pearl
Hey, we might just have invented country-funk. Or did we?
This new tune features a whole gang of special guests. Henri Di Cristo mixed it, as he did all the previous ones. Wanda Costantini, who plays live with us has dropped some sweet percussions onto this track. Loïs Bouma hits the skins. Jean-François Thibaud and Coralie Col Troncia sing backups, while Coralie also dialogs into lead bits. This song also features the battling Adrians, Adrian Byron Burns and Adrien Gaubert, both on scorching bluesy lead guitar.

New from Ship of Fools! It's got backing vocals by my great friend Jean-François Thibaud and by parisian duet Sky Kisses' Wanda the gorgeous. My drinking buddy Mel Jammer provides the drumming.
